Bullet points
-
Laboratory Reagent (RUO) – 0.9 % (v/v) benzyl alcohol in purified water, supplied for general lab dilution, buffer stabilisation, and instrument rinse workflows. Not for human or veterinary use.
-
Microbial Control – Benzyl alcohol preserves solution integrity on the benchtop, reducing spoilage in short‑term storage or repetitive pipetting tasks.
-
0.2 µm Filtered & Autoclaved – Each lot is sterile‑filtered then autoclaved in ISO‑5 areas to minimise bioburden and particulates.
-
Convenient 10 mL Screw‑Cap Bottles – Small volume limits repeated openings and cross‑contamination; amber glass protects light‑sensitive reagents.
-
Documented Quality – SDS (GHS) and Certificate of Analysis included for QA traceability; produced in the USA under GMP‑inspired procedures.
- Post-Access Contamination Shield – The included protective cap securely covers the withdrawal area after the initial seal is removed.
Research-Use-Only Bac Water 0.9 – with Secondary TPU Extraction Cap
This laboratory reagent combines 0.9 % benzyl alcohol in de-ionised water, sterile-filtered and autoclaved. Each 10 mL glass vial is crimp-sealed and delivered with a tamper-evident pull-tab. After the first access, a dedicated cap cover snaps over the exposed pierceable stopper to guard the bacteriostatic zone until the next withdrawal.
Why the TPU cap matters
-
Post-access contamination shield – the flexible TPU skirt hugs the aluminium ring and stopper, blocking lint, aerosols and glove dust from settling on the extraction surface between uses.
-
Integrity through repeated punctures – TPU’s high resilience maintains a tight fit even after dozens of needle entries, reducing the risk of secondary leaks or stopper nicks.
-
Chemical & thermal durability – the cap withstands disinfectants, alcohol wipes and temperatures up to 121 °C, so vials can be re-autoclaved if your protocol requires it.
